Special Needs Youth Sportsman

SNYS is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) faith based public charity organized under the laws of the state of Ohio. The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors with committees. One of those is the Fundraising committee. This committee is responsible for developing projects and activities that help support the organization.

SNYS receives contributions and grants from business, individuals, and government entities in the form of one time donations as well as long term commitments.

Many children with special needs never have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and other ventures afield. There are many and varied reasons for this. A family’s lack of knowledge or experience in outdoor skills may prevent them from offering these opportunities to a special needs child. The particular needs of a child might be too overwhelming to allow a parent or caregiver to provide the equipment, transportation, and other necessities required to make the activity a reality. SNYS VOLUNTEERS give of their time and resources to help meet the needs of youth who are interested in outdoor activities. SNYS volunteers are caring, experienced outdoors men and women who cherish the opportunity to assist families in offering outdoor adventures for special needs children.
